Energy Efficiency

March 1st, 2006 by Aaron O'Hanlon

Energy Efficiency seems to be a big topic nowadays, with increasing costs for energy and the thought of “green building”, not many contractors are using this to their advantage. Regardless if you are a replacement contractor, plumber or HVAC contractor, you have the ability to use this “energy crisis” as a marketing opportunity.

In all your marketing materials you should have percentages and numbers of amount saved and recouped. Also, instead of “free estimate”, which is common, offer an “in-home evaluation”. This sounds much better to the potential client.

I’ll add more in the upcoming days on how to partner with other contractors to market this type of servicing.
